The Bruins fans around us didn't seem to be too happy about blowing a 3-1 lead in the 3rd..........

Neither am I, but gotta tip the cap the the Hawks, they played better in periods 2 and 3 and crawled back from 2 goals down not once but twice. The OTs were pretty even and eventually the puck bounced Chicago's way. Can't wait for game 2.

Sang I'm happy you and your son got to see an instant classic, even though I wish the final goal went the other way.

turnover by Krug was a killer, changed the game. The goal off Ferrence's skate, who had his head somewhere else, was a killer too.

Go B's!!

in this series, home ice isn't the same as in previous ones -- the teams are too evenly matched and are both going really well right now -- the B's & Hawks are the 2 best, no ? about that -- yes there will be an

there's the one difference, & we all know what it is
Tuukka
we can't make Chicago look any better than what they are, Tuukka needs a little more help -- yes being at home will help but it's not the answer w/this scrappy Chicago that proved it during the season, even tho it was abbreviated...
Let's Go BROOONZ

games are way too spaced out for finals. Series has been awesome and looking forward to game tonight.

Any opinions on Torts and Vignault trading places!!!!! Which teams is better off? Or is it just time for a change on both coasts.

Game 2, as told by barstoolsports. Game three video likely up tomorrow. A little long (15 mins) but worth it. Go B's.

If Chicago doesn't even the series in Game 4, it's over. But, we'll see. Lotsa hockey left to play.

What the heck was Chi thinking going after Zdeno at the end of the game
Baaad idea -- the big guy was cranky enough after that Keystone-Kops warmups collision w/Marchand -- who himself took care of business at the end...
B's played Good last night -- it's not a done deal if we blow back to Chi up 3-1 -- in fact just getting to that point will be tough -- ChiHawks are still dangerous
But Tuukka anchors a superior defense (27 straight penalty kills, yababay , & Bruins fans are goin, BROONZ
will take a look at that barstool footage, thanks for posting!

boston is rolling but i still think this will be a long series and go down to 6 or 7. Hawks are pretty banged up at this point. Toews is playing terribly and they have been saying he is hurting.

Tempers flare, boys will be boys. Bickell runs 6'4, 225. He can take care of himself.

Crappy ice is dulling my enjoyment of the Final round. Not sure why they can't bring in additional cooling systems to keep the arena's cold hours before the game starts. I know its not the best fan experience (wear a sweater) but crappy ice is taking a tonne away from the skill players.

Watch how many passes get bumbled, pucks jump over sticks. Players are playing road hockey with a tennis ball on skates.

LEAFS!!!

Apparently humidity not temp was the issue. Cam Neely (he's the Bs president for those who might not know that) talked about this in an interview and said the temp/humidity changed drastically during the day on Monday after a front came through and that impacted the ice surface at game time. He said many newer buildings have dehumidifiers built in, but the TD Garden does not. They did bring in big portable ones but they don't really do the job and they've been discussing a renovation to the building that would include adding them.

the season goes too long -- cheering on the B's one minute & making July 4 plans the next -- it doesn't compute

hopefully the ChiHawks' bldg. has enough brine/the proper equipment -- we'll b playing there Friday*, & it's that 3-1 lead we wanna fly back to Chi with -- & even if it is the games are too close to feel too upbeat about anything (Toronto series anyone?) -- Go BROONZ -- Gregory Campbell you are missed & get well soon bro

* whoops, speaking of asterisk -- make that Saturday, in-the-know fan

That game was wild last night. These games are so nerve wracking! Here's a story of a guy who had heart attack watching Monday's game ... http://www.nbcchicago.com/blogs/madhouse-enforcer/Stanley-Cup-Final-Lands-H awks-Fan-In-Hospital-212304241.html

I have had some heart/health issues over the last few years and some tests on my heart recently. My wife gets worried with this Playoff stuff. Had to pick her up last night during the game. No problem as it is on the radio and not that far a drive. Within minutes Boston comes back to tie the game, she made me mess with karma.

Felt some tightness in the chest as I picked her up. I was concerned to say the least but it was just the stress level of the whole experience. Turned it off for a few minites driving home. Turn it back on and Boston scored. I thought they were leading as I had missed a Chicago goal.

Pulled into the driveway and said "Now I can have a heart attack while watching the game.".

Moral of the story - No pickups or drives during games.

It was another great game and even though he let in 6 goals, Rask was awesome. Shots were 2 to 1 at one point.

James, in all seriousness I hope it's not too bad of a thing with your chest -- take good care bro -- yes that was some game last night, as they all have been -- the B's got a good bounce of the puck behind Crawford on Patrice's 2nd goal

now it's a 2-of-3 for the ages & home-ice as far as I can tell means little now -- yes mayb there's a * but this is epic hockey between these 2 O-6 titans -- let's go Broonz
