And the commercials are usually more entretaining than the game.

I'd rather watch a Stanley Cup game.

ANY round.

Leaving behind those already picked and the hype that goes with them, I love NCAA Lacrosse. The strategies and pure athletics that are a central part of the game make it a wonder to see. And the truly unusual thing is that the two best teams in the country usually get into the finals. It's a great game to watch and play.

Be safe,
John

Most times the Championship games are better than the Super Bowl itself..

The super bowl is the biggest in the US, no doubt....every four years you have the World Cup final which is clearly the biggest in the World. However, nothing beat watching the William the Refrigerator Perry getting beaten down by that little guy during the Nathan's Hot Dog eating contest last year.

To watch on TV, The NCAA Final Four

To attend, the Daytona 500/Speedweeks. Not only the activities at Daytona International Speedway but the local short tracks. On off days you might see Tony Stewart, Dave Blaney & some others racing Dirt Late Models at Volusia County Raceway. Lots of things to do those 2 weeks in Daytona.

Being a long time, big time footbal fan this is difficult for me to say, but I believe its the Stanely Cup Finals. Tough to beat for drama & tension, and to accomplish winning the cup has got to be one of the hardest things to do in sports.

Opening day--Cincinnati Reds.

There is nothig like it. The Finley Market Parade, morning beers, the whole town is swirling, unofficial day off for the kids in school, spring time optimism. The oldest professional baseball team ever still does it right on opening day.

I love NCAA Lacrosse, super fast, incredible stick/ball handling and plenty of violent collisions.

Anyway, I'll pull this poll off boston.com, here is how people there have voted...Superbowl hype has obvisouly gripped the Hub. Sad that Stanley Cup is so low though, I can remember was Boston was a hockey town first, everything else second (ok, maybe baseball tied for 1st)...

Super Bowl
58.5%
World Series
23.3%
March Madness
10.9%
Stanley Cup Finals
3.1%
Daytona 500
2.5%
Kentucky Derby
1.4%
NBA Finals
0.3%
Total votes: 8357

Hey Man, for a kid who grew up in So Cal, blasting across the desert every
