I never have been comfortable using the word "killed" regarding something "good", but this is the 1st time it hit me HARD.

Derick from Cincinatti's post about the TTB concert was the 1st time it has given me a (((JOLT)))

When I read....

"Susan Killed It At Last Night's TTB Concert" for a moment I thought Susan had been in a car crash or something and had been... killed!

Whew!! That was a bad 3 or 4 seconds.

The use of "sick" for good is more odd to me.

Yeah, that thread title has gotten me a couple times. No doubt that was not Derek's intention, but when you're scanning the threads quickly it can cause a brief shock.

When I was kid if something was good we said it was "bad".

How about this. SEAL team 6 killed Osama one year ago. Killed sounded good in that sentence.
