For all UK blues(rock) fans: i would rank this as a "not to be missed" concert. Saw them last year, sans Alvin Youngblood Hart, and it was jawdroppin' good. With Alvin in the ranks this might even be better.

Great scheduling. Gov't Mule is playing on the other side of town the same night.

The 4/7 dilemma got worse - Kenny Wayne Shepherd at the Assembly Hall, Islington!

I said the venue is too small! What did I say? I said "It's too small!!!"

I may have a spare if you do want to go, Al. I'll let you know nearer the time.

If i had to chose between Ian Siegal & The Mississippi Mudbloods feat. Cody & Luther Dickinson and Alvin Youngblood Hart or going to Kenny Wayne Shepherd i would most definitely opt for Ian Siegal's band.

Yeah I really like Ian Siegal. Ive been lucky enough to meet him and do a portrait photography session with him.
I've seen him play live a few times too.

Cheers Dutch, I like the look of this, and at my new favourite venue, The Cluny in Newcastle. I saw Alvin Youngblood Hart in New Orleans a couple of years ago and he was excellent.

To tell you the truth i really like Ian Siegal but it's actually the other performers in this band i'm excited about! And Ian is one of those musicians that excell when he's surrounded by huge talent ready to kick some butt. Sparks will fly!
