Well, got to replace a lot of albums I had way back when, and a huge jump start to my migration to vinyl on all classic releases..... nabbed about 250 albums this week. The guy passed away a couple months ago and the widow was selling stuff, took half of more than 500 albums. He had great taste in spite of only 2 Allmans... kept great care of records, and saved all the insert goodies unused

never knew Apple Records did a complete Beatles LP issue in the early 70's. Got all the major Beatles releases on Apple, weird seeing early ones with the Apple centers.

Got all the Stones, most Dylan, most Neil Young, All the Band... some great Dead... Old and In The Way (yippee) Hendrix... complete Airplane..... weird great stuff mixed in... both Ginger Baker Air Force! I could list for paragraphs.

If anyone is into vinyl and wants to trade for ?, I grabbed some stuff that may be of interest but not to me: The Byrds, Gram Parsons, Flying Burrito, The Who, Jethro Tull, King Crimson, Quicksilver, Santana, Yes, maybe more. All multiple releases of artists, some may be complete. PM me if interest. Need ABB vinyl.

Wow! That's a great score! I like the stuff you don't like, but don't really have anything to trade.

I have an original 1972 "Eat A Peach" - still un-opened.....

Yup, still in its original cellophane prison all these years later.

But it would take something mighty special for me to consider getting rid of that.

That is pretty cool. Of the 2 ABB he had, one was a very very nice Peach still with insert. My vinyl one it replaces was war weary and battered.

I even got a Firesign Theaterr album, hehe...............

I was gonna repeat what Stephen just said, but I have to clear it with the department of redundancy department. You might know from my sig that I am a Firesign fan.

Played Old And In The Way after not hearing in 30 plus years. Yup, still great (Vassar)

Next blast from the past (again 30 plus years since hearing): Will The Circle Be Unbroken (Nitty Gritty plus many) (More Vassar)

Both Woodstocks to reminisce (again a zillion years ago heard)

Freak Out and Absolutely Free again 30 years since last hear....

just the tip of my iceburg......

Procul Harem.... I think I am teleporting back in time.....

sorry to gloat, this is the coolest thing to stuble across. In a tiny town n Montana of maybe 150 people no less to find a treasure.

The guy had some oddball stuff I didn't get...... when was the last time you saw a complete Buffy Saint Marie collection? He had bands I remember the name but don't remember the music....

My sexual preference up for questioning grade 8 english teacher Miss Kerr used to toture us with Buffy St. Marie's yodeling. God that was brutal stuff.

Great to hear of your find. A new co-worker states there is vinyl gold to be found out at Sunday swap meet near my house. I hope to stumble on some finds out there.

I pay way too much to my local used store for vinyl he probably finds for next to nothing in old folks basements and at the swap meet.
