I had to karman-ate ya for all that! You should be given a peach-skin suitcase or made an honorary band member or something!

New York to Laguna Seca Daze in 1993, about 3000 miles. I drove to my buddy in Berkley in May, hit 3 GD shows at Shoreline, then 3 at Cal Expo (some great performances in these shows) and on the day in between the shows at Shoreline and Cal Expo we took in some LSD, Laguna Seca Daze. If I recall correctly, that may have been the first time Little Martha was played live. I have to check that though, I was in an altered state at the time, so I could be recalling incorrectly. I think you can tell by the concert art that this festival may have been thinly veiled acid test!!

Wow, I recalled correctly, well at least there was a Little Martha played, not sure if it was the first live one though.

I may have not taken the longest trip to see the ABB...but take my word for it when I say it was a "long" trip.

Started in Great Woods, Massachusetts in 1989, and started branching out from there. Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New York City.....I have seen them the most times in NYC (Beacons, Radio City, Jones Beach, SPAC in upstate) New Jersey, Merriweather Post in Maryland a couple of times, Richmond, Va, Tennessee, North Carolina, Birmingham, Alabama, New Orleans , La.....Wow I havent thought of this in a long time, I would have to break out all the old ticket stubs to see all the gigs......
But after 21 years seeing this band all up and down the east coast, (sadly, never caught a show at Red Rocks or on the Left Coast.) I am going to culminate it all by making it to Wanee in Florida, and finally, Macon, Georgia in April. I can't really see it getting better than that.

Living in the NYC area , Staten Island specifically , it's great because the ABB comes to me all the time ! So my furtherest traveled to see them was going to Hunter Mountain for last years Mountain Jam , 138 miles from my front door.

I had a "date"....flew 2,014 miles to Montana then road tripped from Montana with my "date" 1,000 + miles to Red Rocks then flew from Denver back to Philly. It was very memorable...just ask Lee and Chad...

I've flown to Red Rocks from Philly since to see the ABB....always a great trip.

Will be flying 1000+ miles to JAX to see them soon...

However, I know this is small stuff compared to crossing the pond to see them....

Drove from AUG (Augusta) to ATL, flew from ATL to NYC in 2007.

Driven from AUG to Live Oak, FL 5 times. The 6th time will be in two weeks.

Driven from AUG to ATL a few times, and from AUG to CLT a few times.

And drove once from AUG to SAV.

When you factor in the family bands, I've made a bunch of trips in the 2 to 3 hour range.

Toronto to Live Oak by car -- holy bejeezus you do like road trips!

The furthest I've gone was the Boston area (Tweeter Center?) from Jacksonville, FL, but there was a jet plane involved.

The furthest I've driven was only a little less than 500 miles roundtrip, Jax to Clearwater and back, but it was cool because I bought the ticket late, left straight from work, loved the show, turned right around and came home.

London UK - Wanee 2007

And in 15 days time, what will probably be the last time I see the ABB, one final 6000 mile round trip. Wanee - 2010

Atlanta to Boston is my farthest - 1999, Great Woods. Atlanta to NYC, Atlanta to Charlotte, Atlanta to Live Oak, FL, Atlanta to New Orleans are also on the list.

It's great to be able to mix in a business trip on the front or back end!
