Id like to see the Cardinals win it tomorrow - don't want to play a game 7 in Milwaukee.... looks like I'll be flipping between the Bears and Cardinals.............

Real classy.

unreal. Makes me sick. Turns me completely off to pro sports. Not one player is denying or confirming anything. Chicken-hearted, overpaid, spoiled little sissies.

the guy is a good man and he gets this???????

makes me want to puke.

Im sure Theo will have him waiting in the wings when Quade implodes in Chicago..

They didn't want you to be the next Bartman.

I just hope the TV coverage shows Nolan some more. I mean, the guy never got enough face time all through the playoffs.

If the Cardinals can't get the starting pitching ironed out that Texas lineup will blow them out 4-0. I'll be rooting for the Cards and the NL, but unless that changes I don't see it happening.

Good points but keep in mind that the Rangers starting pitching is suspect at best. At least they do have a very good bullpen.

Tony's bullpen by committee has been doing pretty well; but not as strong as Texas'. Both teams are hot with solid lineups (so may runs the last game of both series I thought they'd go for the two point conversion.) I think this is going to be a good world series. I think the difference is going to be whose starting pitching holds up the best. Not a lot of number ones out there; but both teams are relatively deep on the mound

Cards pitching beyond Carpenter isnt all that either.

Bullpen is a wash.

Rangers have more offense.

Rangers in 6.

I'm pulling for the Rangers. That said I'd have to bet on the hottest team in baseball (the Cardinals) in 7. Looking at the teams they beat, I'd say Milwaukee was stronger then a depleted Tiger team. Cardinals just seem so great at wearing pitchers down with a bunch of foul balls before getting a good pitch to hit. They also have come so far and have a nothing-to-lose attitude while Texas has some pressure to not lose in two straight WS. Cardinals are the Giants of this year's playoffs.
