go away

Giants are back to not hitting, just in time for the race to the playoffs.

and Uribe makes a error and the Zito gives up one hit and loses 1-0 on an unearned run.
Way to go Giants!

From WikiAnswers.

What is a nondisplaced fracture involving the greater tuberosity?

nondisplaced fracture//the bone cracks with the broken peices still in alignment.
Tuberosity//knoblike process.
Process// prominant projection.

There are many tuberosities on many of our bones. When you say greater, I assume it is in the femur, the "Greater Trochanter"? The femur has a gluteal tuberosity below the Greater Trochanter. Either way its a cracked bone where the tuberosity is or was.

Hope this helps.

Thanks!
looked up info just now on the hamate bone (SD's Gwynn recently fractured it swinging the bat), pretty much the same thing -- medical lingo -- all translating to "I'm in pain" MLB-wise -- thanks again -- quite the game last night -- the two best in baseball

BoSox forever

He sure was grizzled tonight!
I'm amazed his elbow wasn't shattered in a million pieces the way it sounded when he got "hit".

stick a fork in the White Sox, they're done. Worst roll-over & quit I've seen from them in a long time! DAMN I'm disgusted! ManRam's been a extremely worthless addition-hitting a weak .293 with 13 Ks, NO extra base hits & NO RBI, way to play for next year's contract, you useless POS.

At least the Giants are playing well, in 1st place, alone, for the 1st time since early May! GO GIANTS!!!

GO GIANTS .5 ahead in the NL west standing after handing a can of woop@$$ to the Dodgers....It's oh so much more rewarding when we beat the little boys in blue to take a lead in the standings. The final home stand against the Padres can be the tell tale series. But hopefully we can puit a few games between us before then

What about the Twinkies, at 42-16 the hottest team since the All Star break -- they've caught up to NY & TB -- how awesome is that -- not since Jacobs Field opened in '94 has a new stadium had such an impact -- bet they'll have a multiple-season string of sellouts like Cleveland did when the Jake opened w/players like Manny, ABelle, KLofton, JThome, OHershiser briefly, etc --

what about the Rangiz, on fiya too & w/out Hamilton (shout out to Doug MacKenzie, hey bro!)

both will probably be toast come the playoffs though
maybe this will be the year the Twins beat NY -- Carl Pavano, 16-11 & up there in IP & other categories -- a real workhorse he's been this year -- kind of like a Bert Blyleven-type year

hearup bra, "SH!T IS NOT OVER YET"

Joe Torre has announced he is stepping down as manager of the Dodgers at the end of the season. Don Mattingly will replace him.

I'll be interested to hear Wharfy weigh in on this one. I know Chuck wants Mattingly to manage the Yankees.

I am happy with the job Girardi has done. I wish Donny the best of luck, and will leave it at that.

It was great ( and suprising) to see Donny and Torre at the stadium last night.

Unbelievable -- the Royales pile up 16 hits for Zack Greinke last night, but are shut out in all but one inning, and Greinke loses & drops to 9-13 -- he needs to get out of KC, he deserves to pitch somewhere where he can win

this year's Cy winner, Hernandez, Seattle -- he'd be a 25-game winner anywhere else
in the NL, Halladay, hands down -- one of the few who's taken the ball every fourth day w/out complaining & who doesn't like coming out of games

looking indeed like a WS rematch -- would like to see Atl. make the wild card because of Bobby Cox -- good to see those guys back at the stadium yesterday, Torre was so successful there & Mattingly played his whole career there
