Well, hell yeah, Conan!! Wow, I went from catching myself singing "Surrender" by Cheap Trick for the first time in 20 years to digging on Neil Young to tipping my hat to Conan's class farewell to laughing my ass off at the end when.......well, let's just say the drums in the dark behind Neil was a clue (And no, it ain't the Gary Rossington band, thankfully). Big fun.

To bad they didn't use a real singer it would have been much better , Will Ferrell does nothing for me , I thought the playing was good but the singing was dumb . Ben Harper Rocks .

I liked it. Conan's speech beforehand was classy. Good last episode.

Ferrell's vocals did suck. But the premise and his 'Ronnie' get up was a crackup, flaired jeans and all, and it was a cool tribute to Ronnie, whom I miss as much as Duane and Toy sometimes having seen him live a bunch before the crash, white floored stage with a Jack Daniels bottle on the drum stand and barefoot as a muthaf*cker. And, Conan actually did get a riff in edgewise towards the end. Rocked it out. Ben Harper, Billy Gibbons, Beck, Jimmy V, Conan and Ferrell on cowbell once again. Coco!!

How was it a tribute to Ronnie? It was goofing on Ronnie and it sucked while it did have some comedic value. And by the way, his name is Van Zant!

What a great final show. Classy in every way.

And Conan's final words were pure class as well.

Tom Hanks was an awesome guest as always. Neil Young was great!

And yes, as well intended as it might have been, Will Ferrell's attempted Ronnie VanZandt was the definate low point of the show. But the band rocked as did Conan on guitar. What a true rock dude..!

Conan and his crew were smoking hot the entire final week. It just reinforces to me that the NBC Execs are true idiots for letting him walk.

Oh well. Now it's back to Leno's tired , tired, schtick which I won't bother staying up for , or even making the effort to press the DVR button for ...

Good luck Conan. I'll be waiting for the debut, wherever it happens to be .

Nonsense. Johnny does not wear a hat on stage like that. Not in 87, 97 or now.

Yeah, you're right, that would make it look like he was trying to make a living off his brother's legacy.

My bad.

And the music writer can't spell Van Zant.

Oh, he only spelled the man's name wrong to see if anyone would catch it. He does that a lot.
