Probably the best sounding CSNY recording for 69'.

Show has been around, but this one came from a superior sounding tape source. Does sound better, especially in the acoustic set. Very nice bottom.

Interesting, as they all seem to be in a good mood. Crosby & Nash tell WAY too many "stories" at times, but there's some early versions of songs that haven't been heard yet by the audience. Even the reluctant CSNY, Young, seems to have lightened up, & he does a pretty scarce Country Girl medley during the acoustic set. The electric set is sloppy, but amusing as Stills plays the Mr. Tambourine Man riff at the beginning of I Must Learn to Live.

Did anybody else notice that So Begins the Task was called I Must Learn to Live early on?

b&p for five.

one cdr, AUDIO please w/ return mailer. Please post, & close door.

Must be Stills, then - Young & Nash far too skinny, and Croz has always been big-boned!

Sorry - couldn't resist! Still those 3 spots left...

Have you seen Stills as of late? Appearance wise, there is nothing "nice" about him.

For myself, I'd sooner go for one of their "old ladies" (to use the parlance of the time), but Stills was still a relatively slim guy in '69 - I know what you mean about the 2003 model, though!!
