Howdy --

Can anyone recall Stevie Ray Vaughn opening for a solo Gregg Allman sometime in the late 1980's? Or maybe it was the other way around. Can't remember!

I know I saw SRV at the erstwhile-titled Greatwoods Amphitheater in Mansfield, MA.

I think that Gregg was on the bill somewhere, at the top or opening.

Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks,

Michael

I believe that the Gregg Allman Band opened for SRV & DT the entire run in 1987. I caught them here in Chicago I believe 6/19/87 at Poplar Creek.

I think Gregg opened for SRV on 6-30-87 at the Mann Center in Philadelphia. That SRV show is one of his best shows, and with Excellent sound.

I had the SRV Mann Music Center show on cassette. He burns it down, I highly recommend it.
