I haven't seen the DVD, but that made me laugh -- because it reminds me a bit of my house. I have a 3-and-a-half-year-old son, who loves playing my guitars. He'll stand in front of them and play them like we adults would play a stand up bass.
Anyway, he loses picks like it's his job. It seems like within seconds of him strumming the pick is gone and we can't find it. We go through tons of picks every month.
We hosted my sister's bridal shower two weekends ago, and a couple of her friends came over to get the house ready, we are moving furniture around and sliding other things, etc., and one girl was like "I am finding picks EVERYWHERE!!!!"
As an aside, and just to show how cute kids are, a couple months ago I started playing Chris Stapleton's version of Tennessee Whiskey, my son called it the "Spooky Song". So, his new thing is to sit on my lap and he says "Daddy, play the spooky song."
I finger the chords for Tennessee Whiskey, while my son strums, and he makes up lyrics and sings about monsters and ghosts and witches for the "Spooky Song." I love it.
