I'm glad you, and your family are OK James. I can also understand your comment to the other driver. I was in a situation on my Harley with my 15 yr. son last summer with a teenage driver. Thank God I was able to avoid a collision. I lost it a little when we caught up at a red light, but hopefully he is a better driver from it.

Well considering his first comment to me was that he wasn't speeding and was in control, I had thought some dark thoughts. This was coming from a fool that had just ran a red light, never hit the brakes and had seriously endangered my children and myself.

I suggested that he stand far away. He wisely took my suggestion.

Hope all had a great Christmas. Thanks so much for the kind words and wishes. Day three of some nasty headache, knee triple the size and the feeling of taking a pretty massive beating. Memory is groggy and a little slower than normal but it is all supposed to be fine. Some minor internal bleeding which is normal and have to follow up with doctor's appointments all week.

After the last couple of years, I am sick of doctors with all due respect sent their way.

But I have family and friends and my son got a very LOUD dinosaur. So all is good. I mean a LOUD dinosaur. Thanks for that Santa.

Hope everyone else had safe and happy holidays.

Wow. Scary stuff.

I'm glad it all worked out (so far), James.

Good luck

Again thanks for the kind words and PMs. Much appreciated.

Question for those who may have had a mild concussion from an accident or anywhere I suppose. How long did your headaches last and how long was your head tender to the touch? I know they vary from person to person but just looking for an average.

I had one long ago from playing sports but can't really remember. My head is pounding five days later. Sound hurts and light. The rest of the injuries seem to be recovering but noit my head. wasn't all there to begin with.

This is the longest drum solo I have ever heard.

Wow, just reading this now - very glad to hear no major injuries James ...as for concussions, only had a minor one once when my old boss got me with the boom of his 36' sailboat coming to to retreive his damn Yankees ballcap that he'd dropped overboard. Lasted about a week as I recall, anything past that I'd be going for the immediate/ next day MRI hockey players seem to be able to source.

I just saw this too James. Thank God all is well with you and the kids. That would freak me out as well if they went to a different hospital than me. Miracles do happen!!

Wow James this sounds pretty scary, especially having to go to a separate hospital from your six year old -- thank heavens it all worked out OK. Best to you -- But -- if you're feeling all recovered & chipper & everything, then all of a sudden you hear clinking bottles followed by "Warrriorrs -- come out to playaya" -- get your butt back to the hospital! (liked your Warriors reference)
Best to you bro, my Christmas was good & I hope yours was too
