Thread: Republicans Ask Democrats To Please Leave Trump's Tax Returns ALONE

Here's a good one for ya. GOP provides more cover for Trump. Remember the midnight ride of Devin Nunes? That was a good one. Now it's please stay away from Little Donnie's tax returns.

The Democrat led investigation into Little Don has only just begun....In typical Trump fashion, he cried like a baby on Twitter this morning....He may be the most thin skinned mob boss in history. Most leaders of crime families at least act the part. Don, on the other hand, goes right to Twitter. Such a tough guy, our Prez...

Just wait until the Southern District in New York begins their investigations in earnest. Sh@t storm coming, Mr. President.

I don't get the big deal re his personal tax returns. They're going to tell us nothing - maybe his salary from Trump Org - and very little else. His assets are parceled out in LPs, corps, PLLCs, and off-shore accounts some w/his personal guarantee FWIW. The man & his money are smoke & mirrors.

I'd be interested in Melania's business returns just for fun.

There must be something he wants kept private. It should be no big deal, the fact it is a big deal makes it more necessary to see them.

I don't think it will reveal wealth, as some have speculated that it would show he isn't as wealthy as he says.

It could show charitable giving, or lack of, and where and who he gets his income from. I guess those are the big things.

I get that he feels it is an invasion of his privacy, but that is nonsense. He is POTUS and everyone in recent years has released them. Trump being Trump, it is possible he doesn't want to do it because some want him to. But more likely he is hiding something.

So much of this stuff he brings on himself. Moral of the story, don't be a dick, make enemies making yourself even more of a target.

There is obviously something in there that he doesn't want known. He already admitted that he paid no tax, so that isn't it. Maybe it shows that he get's a ton of government money as tax incentives along with paying nothing in taxes. At this point, his cheerleaders won't care. His supporters aren't the type to care that he probably didn't give much to charity, so I doubt that's it.

My guess is there is something that can lead to money laundering or something related to Russia. Something that could lead to jailtime or impeachment. Things that are just embarrassing his fans will just find a way to call a nothing burger, will be in the news for a week or two, and then just fade away

I agree that there isn't that much in his tax returns that we don't already know....What I suspect is that he's declared millions in losses over the years so as to avoid paying very little if anything in actual taxes....In other words more evidence that he's not nearly as wealthy as he claims to be and also that what wealth he does posses he simply doesn't pay taxes on because he's just a crook...
