President Trump invited Kanye West and the legendary Jim Brown to The White House today to discuss prison reform, the out of control violence and killings in black neighborhoods and other issues facing the black community.

This is how Fake News (formally known as CNN) commented last night:

Kanye West segment on CNN labeled ‘racist’ for calling singer ‘token negro of the Trump administration’

CNN is under fire for a segment on “CNN Tonight with Don Lemon” in which rapper Kanye West was referred to as “the token negro of the Trump administration.”

West is scheduled to meet with President Trump at the White House on Thursday to discuss a variety of topics including prison reform and how to prevent gang violence. A CNN segment on Tuesday night began with Lemon asking if Trump is simply “using Kanye as a prop to win over black voters before the midterms.”

CNN political commentator Bakari Sellers responded that his issue with the rapper is “quite simple.”

“Anti-intellectualism simply isn’t cool,” Sellers said. “Kanye West is what happens when Negros don’t read.”

Kanye West and Jim Brown are highly respected in the black community.

President Trump has talked to pastors and many of the informed and interested in helping.

Listening to people is a big step in helping a community long abandoned (except on election day) by the Democrats.

The left referring to Kanye West as a "token negro" is racist and helps no one.

We could say he was born a ramblin' man, but that would be an insult to Dickey Betts. That was one heck of a rambling diatribe in the Trump mold. Trump & Kanye are two of a kind looking for validation from each other. They deserve each other.

Note: for those right wingers who troll this site and don't post in the music forum, Dickey Betts was a long term guitar player for the Allman Brothers Band.

If you actually listened to Kanye West today he was on point many times.

"The reason why many blacks are Democrats is because of welfare.".

The left is throwing another of their racist rants because Kanye West dared to think for himself.

tbomike - 10/12/2018 at 12:31 AM

Please. Its nonsensical rambling.

There’s a lot of things affecting our mental health that makes us do crazy things, that puts us back into that trap door that’s called the 13th Amendment. I did say, “abolish,” with the hat on, because why would you keep something around that’s a trap door. If you building a floor, the constitution is the base of our industry, of our country, of our company. Would you build a trap door that if you mess up and accidentally something happens, you fall and you end up next to the Uni-bomber, you gotta remove all that trapdoor out of the relationship. The four gentleman that wrote the 13th Amendment, and I think the way the universe works is perfect, we don’t have 13 floors, do we? You know, the four gentleman that wrote the 13th amendment didn’t look like the people they were amending. Also, at that point, it was illegal for blacks to read, or African Americans, to read. So, that meant if you actually read the Amendment, you’d get locked up! And turned into a slave. Again, so what I think is, we don’t need sentences, we need pardons. We need to talk to people.

I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. I was connected with a neuropsychologist that works with the athletes in the NBA and NFL. He looked at my brain, it’s equal on three parts. I’m gonna go ahead, drop some bombs for you. 98 percentile IQ test, I had a 75 percentile of all human beings when it was counting eight numbers backwards, so I’m gonna work on that one. The other ones, 98 percent, Tesla, Freud. So, he said that I actually wasn’t bipolar, I had sleep deprivation, which could cause dementia 10-20 years from now, where I wouldn’t even remember my sons name. So, all this power that I’ve got, and I’m taking my son to the Sox game and all that, I wouldn’t be able to remember his name, from a misdiagnosis. What we need is, we can empower the pharmaceuticals and make more money. That’s one thing, I’ve never stepped into a situation where I didn’t make people more money. So, we can empower pharmaceuticals, we can empower our industries, we can empower our factories, we can bring, not only Adidas on shore, we could bring Foxconn and set up a factory in, I think, Minnesota [corrected by Trump that it’s Wisconsin].

Yeah, Wisconsin. They have 4,000 jobs, people making 53,000 a year. And one of the things we gotta set is, Ford to have the highest designs. The dopest cars. The most amazing. I don’t really say, “dope,” I don’t say negative words and try to flip ‘em. We just say positive, lovely, divine, universal words. So, the flyest, freshest, most amazing car. And what we start with, is – I brought a GIF with me right here. [Scrolls through iPhone to show Trump.] This right here is the iPlane 1. It’s a hydrogen powered airplane, and this is what our president should be flying in. We’re gonna have Apple, an American company, work on this plane.

What I need Saturday Night Live to improve on, or what I need the liberals to improve on is, if he don’t look good [pointing to Trump], we don’t look good. This is our President. He has to be the freshest, the flyest, the flyest planes, the best factories. And we have to make our core be empowered. We have to bring jobs into America, because our best export is entertainment and ideas. But when we make everything in China and not America, then we’re cheating on our country, and we’re putting people in positions to have to do illegal things to end up in the cheapest factory every, the prison system.

Jim Brown responding to reporter’s questions on the kneeling controversy:

“I am an American, that flag is my flag, and I want to represent it that way."

“I don't think that we should take knees in protest instead of be standing up for our flag.”

Speaking to the press in front of the White House Jim Brown responded to their questioning his support for President Trump:

"But when I look at television I see all these announcers become experts and they're pointing the fingers and they're not doing a doggone thing but pointing their fingers, I find myself really pulling for the president."

Asked about President Trump calling them “Fake News”:

Jim Brown, the guys charged multiple times for assult and even attempted murder, yet most of the time gets away with it (with a couple exceptions), seems like a nice combination with Trump. Both think they are above the law and somehow get away with their crimes more often than not.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/life/people/2018/10/12/heres-every-word-kany e-wests-bizarre-meeting-president-trump/1609230002/

On the 13th Amendment
West: So it’s more important than any specific deal – anything – that we bring jobs into America, and that we provide a transition with mental health and the Amer-I-Can education curriculum that Jim has worked on. Larry Hoover also has a curriculum that he’s worked on. We have Montessori curriculus that we worked on. WeWork has a beautiful curriculum. The Waldorf establishment has a curriculum. We have meditation. There’s a lot of things affecting our mental health that makes us do crazy things that puts us back into that trap door called the 13th Amendment.

I did say “abolish” with the hat on. Because why would you keep something around that’s a trap door? If you’re building a floor – the Constitution is the base of our industry, right? BrerRabbit - 10/13/2018 at 03:38 AM

Yes it was a bit beyond the comprehension of the average skoaldrooler. Let's condense it into layman's terms.

All he was saying was: Why would you want an amendment that is a trap door? Because the universe is perfect and we don't have buildings with 13 floors and you might fall through the trap door and end up next to the Unabomber.

Why is that so difficult for you to understand? I bet if a white guy said that you would nominate him for a Nobel prize for philosophy. Look at all the weird stuff Dylan wrote and got a Nobel prize.

BrerRabbit - 10/13/2018 at 05:09 PM

You are striking the lode of truth, whatever your motives for mining may be.

Malcolm X nailed it:

"The white conservatives aren't friends of the Negro either, but they at least don't try to hide it. They are like wolves; they show their teeth in a snarl that keeps the Negro always aware of where he stands with them. But the white liberals are foxes, who also show their teeth to the Negro but pretend that they are smiling. The white liberals are more dangerous than the conservatives; they lure the Negro, and as the Negro runs from the growling wolf, he flees into the open jaws of the "smiling" fox. One is the wolf, the other is a fox. No matter what, they’ll both eat you.”

"The white liberal is the worst enemy to America, and the worst enemy to the black man. Let me explain what I mean by the white liberal. In America there is no such thing as Democrat or Republican anymore. In America you have liberals and conservatives. The only people living in the past who think in terms of I’m a Democrat or Republican, is the American Negro. He’s the one that runs around bragging about party affiliation. He’s the one that sticks to the Democrat or sticks to the Republican. But white people are divided into two groups, liberals and conservative. The Democrats who are conservative, vote with the Republicans who are conservative. The Democrats who are liberal vote with the Republicans that are liberal. The white liberal aren’t white people who are for independence, who are moral and ethical in their thinking. They are just a faction of white people that are jockeying for power. The same as the white conservative is a faction of white people that are jockeying for power. They are fighting each other for power and prestige, and the one that is the football in the game is the Negro, 20 million black people. A political football, a political pawn, an economic football, and economic pawn. A social football, a social pawn. The liberal elements of whites are those who have perfected the art of selling themselves to the Negro as a friend of the Negro. Getting sympathy of the Negro, getting the allegiance of the Negro, and getting the mind of the Negro. Then the Negro sides with the white liberal, and the white liberal use the Negro against the white conservative. So that anything that the Negro does is never for his own good, never for his own advancement, never for his own progress, he’s only a pawn in the hands of the white liberal. The worst enemy that the Negro have is this white man that runs around here drooling at the mouth professing to love Negros, and calling himself a liberal, and it is following these white liberals that has perpetuated problems that Negros have. If the Negro wasn’t taken, tricked, or deceived by the white liberal then Negros would get together and solve our own problems. I only cite these things to show you that in America the history of the white liberal has been nothing but a series of trickery designed to make Negros think that the white liberal was going to solve our problems. Our problems will never be solved by the white man. The only way that our problem will be solved is when the black man wakes up, clean himself up, stand on his own feet and stop begging the white man, and take immediate steps to do for ourselves the things that we have been waiting on the white man to do for us. Once we do for self then we will be able to solve our own problems"

(A new breed has come up since Malcom's day, that is not mentioned here, the new conservative "fox", who has learned the power of liberal trickery.)

That, my friends, is what we call a low bar.

Keller,

Let me clarify that inflated figure. I believe that figure is from Rasmussen which is a heavily right leaning & biased outlier. When the midterms are tracked, I'd put more more credence on metrics we learn as a proxy for Trump.

I know that it was either from Rasmussen or he pulled it out of his butt. The lack of a source is typical.

it was not Rasmussen so the rest of your post is your usual conjecture.

Anywhere you got it, 30% is hardly something to brag about.

I did a google search on "approval ratings for Trump by black population", and this is what popped on my browser. Take a good luck at who did the polling.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/onpolitics/2018/08/16/trump-ap proval-rating-african-americans-rasmussen-poll/1013212002/

Here's another article with different polling and substantial results. I guess those who really believe the 30 some percent would just dismiss anything other than Rasmussen or accept anything that Trump tells them. Gallup shows significantly lower than the 30 some percent - what a surprise.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/monkey-cage/wp/2018/08/17/no-one-third- of-african-americans-dont-support-trump-not-even-close/?noredirect=on&u tm_term=.91865b89eb83

Both of the "sources" you list are corrupt liberal media.
Legitimate polling supports the 30% approval number. Those polls are the reason why so many Democrats are freaking out about their losses which explains why the many reports I have already posted detail the Democrats (and the NAACP) fear.

Saying that the source is the "corrupt liberal media" is not an argument. Show us where you got your data, unless you pulled it out of your butt. Nobody wants to see that.

MartinD28 - 10/14/2018 at 11:51 PM

What % of black vote did Trump win in 2016? Wasn't it around 8%. So all of a sudden delusional people believe he has some 30+ pct of approval amongst that significant segment of the population? The next thing we'll hear is that 30% will vote for him in 2020 if he runs? That would be a 400% increase. Who believes that is remotely possible of a white nationalist President? Remember Charlottesville.

Look at his campaign rallies where Trump loves to hear himself talk. The rallies with the guys wearing the t-shirts with "I'd rather be a Russian than Democrat" and the red Maga hats probably made in foreign countries are 99% lily-white supporters.

Muleman1994 - 10/15/2018 at 03:26 PM

“delusional people believe he has some 30+ pct of approval”
- Fact hence the freakout of the democrats and the NAACP. All those articles I posted prove it.

“significant segment of the population”
- Black people represent 12.5 % of the population. The difference is that Republicans consider them people and to the Democrats they are nothing more than a vote.

“99% lily-white supporters”
- Another lie. Obviously you are ignoring all the black people holding up “Blacks for Trump” signs and the Latinos with their signs supporting President Trump.

The rest of your post is right out of Fake News opinion. Informed people know better.

The only thing that matters is if it fits his narrative. Accuracy is of no importance.

There are always a few exceptions. The most pro-Trump person I know is a Mexican musician who is on public assistance and can't keep a regular job (partially due to his inability to keep his mouth closed about politics at work). He reminds me a bit of Frank on Shameless. Always blaming others for his problems while living on the public dole, yet somehow thinks the Republicans represent him.

Not that he would admit it.

I though Kanye was spot on.
He told the truth. All the things the left won't allow black people to say.

There is a long line, and getting longer of black people saying the same things and educating black people on how the Democrats have used them while keeping them down.

Of our country, of our company. Would you build a trap door that if you mess up and you – accidentally something happens, you fall and you end up next to the Unabomber? You end up – you got to remove all that trap door out of the relationship.

The four gentlemen that wrote the 13th Amendment – and I think the way the universe works, it’s perfect. We don’t have 13 floors, do we? You know, so the four – the four gentlemen that wrote the 13th Amendment didn’t look like the people they were amending. Also at that point, it was illegal for blacks to read – or African Americans to read. And so that meant if you actually read the Amendment, you would get locked up and turned into a slave.
