Thread: The Devil Went Down to Arkansas too

gina - 7/31/2018 at 12:21 AM

Well it seems like after the Devil Went Down to Georgia, he decided he's like to go to Arkansas too. The Church of Satan wants to erect Baphomet there and claim the state for his own.

Holy War, oh yes, we are in one. The signs are everywhere.

2112 - 7/31/2018 at 01:18 AM

So does that mean that when there is a cross it means Jesus is claiming the state as his own? If there is both Baphomet a statue and a Virgin Mary statue, does that mean they are fighting some kind of blood battle for control of the state? If whoever has the most statues and crosses wins, then Satan has a long way to go to catch up.

BrerRabbit - 7/31/2018 at 03:16 AM

"Holy War" is an oxymoron.

Someone reminded me recently that George Carlin once said that if Jesus had been born later we would all be wearing electric chairs around our neck.........

nebish - 7/31/2018 at 10:41 AM

This is the only holy war I'm interest in

I have a sure-fire way to end the holy war….how about everyone stop believing in religions created thousands of years before the invention of electricity? When the zenith of technology was the goat herder's crook?

Since secular law is the law of the land, prior to when God sends Jesus back (and I have it on good authority he will make an appearance in 2034, and then be back for the big events in 2039), he will allow the corrections/disasters that he said he would to try to call people's attention to him and get them to come back to him. When you get terrified who you gonna call for help?

If people from the time of Abraham just followed the guidance hey were given, there would not be all these problems.

Yes there is a battle for the states, and the country and the world. His way or no way is what it will all come down to.

Ok, sounds like you are a Christian this week. Is this a seasonal thing? Which months are you a Muslim and which months are you a Christian? Seems like you want everyone to agree with you religious beliefs, yet you seem all over the place.

Terrifying people to get their attention is terrorism.

The devil chose Arkansas? While I've met some fun people from Arkansas, there has to be plenty of other places to visit especially during the summer...

Yeah shame on the global elite and the lie they perpetrated upon the world, and all the innocents they killed in the US and other nations. Shame on the sheeple for believing the great lie.

Why do you think he went there? He wants to make them evil, angry and ugly so they will do HIS bidding.

The original law is what was given to Abraham. The Jews changed it by refusing to believe in Jesus. The Christians changed it when Constantine of Sunday got involved and declared the Pope as THE authority over all the law, and the Muslims changed it dividing into sects. In the Quran, it is correctly stated that in he end there will be more than 70 false sects of Judaism, 71 false sects of Christianity and 72 false sects of Islam. When you want the truth go back to what was given to Abraham, called Abrahamaic law. Even when Osama tried to tell people this, it only angered the Wahabbis who diverted Islam into a sect, the Sufis and the Shiites also became sects.

Jesus was sent to help the Jews, but the Sanhedrin denied him. Today they still deny that he will be back to prevail on Judgment Day. Jews who know the truth understand this. There are rightly guided Rabbis, here is one: Zev Porat, who was descended from a family line of Sanhedrins, told them they were wrong.

https://www.messiahofisraelministries.org/

Johnathan Cahn knows the truth, he wrote the Harbinger. As a Jew he knows the truth and he has been called to be a messenger.

There are people from all the religions who know the truth, some of you are hung up on labeling someone with a religion, when God comes back, he will get rid of all religions, and there will be ONE LAW, ONE LAW GIVER, HIM. You may have read in Corinthians that all dominion will be destroyed, well that doesn't just refer to governments and ruling authorities although that will happen too. All of those things will come to pass, but it will be over time and there will be wars, famine, mass deaths from disease and all that he told you there would be.

There will be a final battle when Satan in the flesh will be destroyed, and Muslims will be involved in that battle, and they will be with Jesus, and that big fight will begin in Syria. Look at the bequests for the lands allocated to the tribes in Ezekiel, the tribe of Benjamin will be closes to the land allocated for Jesus, that tribe went to Afghanistan, so after all is said and done, who has God chosen to be near Jesus when he takes rule over Jerusalem as he was promised? Afghans.

No hell below us
Above us, only sky....

If they know the truth that religions are false labels then why are they "from all the religions" as you said? They label themselves. Why aren't they like you and just not be in any religion?

People grow up with some sort of religious foundation then they either fall away from it, or they look into other religions.

Your links are to a rabbi, and also another Jew who apparently believes in the Second Coming. You made sure to label them yourself. These fellows seem to be comfortable with their religious label. Nobody is labeling them.

Why get all defensive and say folks want to label you, when it is easy enough to just say you declare for no particular religion, and prefer to cherry pick and mix and match from a variety of religions ? Nothing wrong with that, in fact it is quite common nowadays.

Much simpler than accusing folks of trying to label you as a follower of a particular religion, and would save you the trouble of writing all that elaborate gonzo hoohah about popes and holy wars and satan and the chosen Afghans to clarify your preference for not identifying with any one certain religion, wouldn't you agree?

The rabbis are self declared rabbis, they are students of knowledge of the teachings not only of Judaism but other tenets themselves. Any Jewish person with knowledge can tell you the shortcomings and beliefs that are wrong in that religion. Any Christian with knowledge can tell you that only those who adhered to the eastern orthodox beliefs are the ones following closes in what was followed by the apostles. The western churches, Rome and the Pope are wrong in believing that the Pope's judgment is infallible. He was not given that authority anywhere except in that church. And that happened after the split in Christianity.

History and schism
The Great Schism

The doctrine of the Christian Church was established over the centuries at Councils dating from as early as 325CE where the leaders from all the Christian communities were represented. The Eastern Church recognizes the authority of the Councils of Nicea 325 CE, Constantinople I (381), Ephesus (431) Chalcedon (451) Constantinople II (553), Constantinople III (680) and Nicaea II (787).

Although initially the Eastern and Western Christians shared the same faith, the two traditions began to divide after the seventh Ecumenical Council in 787 CE and is commonly believed to have finally split over the conflict with Rome in the so called Great Schism in 1054.

In particular this happened over the papal claim to supreme authority and the doctrine of the Holy Spirit. The break became final with the failure of the Council of Florence in the fifteenth century.

However, in the minds of most Orthodox, a decisive moment was the sack of Constantinople in 1204 during the (Western Christian) Fourth Crusade. The sacking of Constantinople by the Crusaders eventually led to the loss of this Byzantine capital to the Muslim Ottomans in 1453. This has never been forgotten.

The divisions between the East and Western Churches happened gradually over the centuries as the Roman Empire fragmented.

Eventually, while the Eastern Churches maintained the principle that the Church should keep to the local language of the community, Latin became the language of the Western Church.

Until the schism the five great patriarchal sees were Rome, Constantinople, Alexandria, Antioch and Jerusalem. After the break with Rome Orthodoxy became 'Eastern' and the dominant expression of Christianity in the eastern Mediterranean, much of Asia Minor, Russian and Balkans.

As to cherry picking, I take what is true and hold to that.

I, for one, find the Satanist ironic sense of humor incredibly entertaining.

Mileage may vary, of course.

BrerRabbit - 8/13/2018 at 06:38 PM

The best thing that ever happened for satan was when folks made him up.

gina - 8/13/2018 at 06:46 PM

He wasn't made up and he is alive and well wandering to and fro across the earth for the ruination of souls. I have my own stories I could tell but it is not necessary. I have seen someone who is demonically possessed. Aside from his traits (Galatians Chapter 5), one day in the winter he was walking and next to him as he walked were hoofprints of an animal, except that there was no animal there. The stories that Satan is an animal with a tail may be true, i have no other way to account for seeing animal hoofprints walking alongside this person in newly fallen snow that no one else had walked on, shoveled, or used a snow blower on. If I had any doubt at all, that clinched it for me.

And no I am not messing with you, this is absolutely true.

So do many others, and their truth is just as true as yours. Funny how that works.

The only "believers" I trust are the ones who are comfortable with their faith and don't call other faiths false, or go out of their way to change the beliefs of others.
