Thread: DOJ IG report on Clinton email scandal and spying on Trump campaign out Thrs. 6/14

Muleman1994 - 6/11/2018 at 03:53 PM

Department of Justice IG, Michael Horowitz will release reports on Thursday June 14th. The IG’s investigation pertains to how the Department of Justice and the FBI conducted the investigation of Hillary Clinton’s email and on FBI and Justice monitoring of the Trump campaign.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions pointed to Horowitz’s ongoing review of the Clinton email case. Concerns about how the Obama Justice Department and FBI obtained a warrant to surveil former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page, Sessions said he had asked Horowitz to review the matter, and Horowitz later confirmed publicly that he would do so.

Horowitz and The Justice Department has also investigated the possible political spying on the Donald Trump campaign by Obama Administration Justice and FBI officials. Horowitz has confirmed his investigation has interviewed the so-called FBI “informant” who was asked to contact Trump campaign officials.

James Comey, Andrew McCabe and Perter Strzok as well as two “unnamed” former Obama DOJ officials are expected to be the first subjects of Grand Jury proceedings because of the IG’s investigation.

Muleman1994 - 6/12/2018 at 04:23 PM

This report release has the corrupt former Obama officials scrambling.

Their lemmings in the corrupt liberal media are confused. Having not seen the IGs report some have already attacked it while others are ignoring its existence.

Comey and McCabe have been calling each other liars for weeks.

Both Comey and McCabe have numerous lying under oath occurrences that are well documented and witnessed.

IG Horowitz is scheduled to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee on the Monday following the report’s release.

Andrew McCabe is also set to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee but is now demanding immunity and threatening to plead the 5th without full immunity.

The former #2 at Obama’s FBI is demanding immunity.

Keep holding on to nothing, idiot.

jkeller - 6/14/2018 at 03:21 PM

Well that turned out to be a real nothing burger. Comey didn't follow procedures and he damaged Clinton's presidential campaign, but he was found to have not done this for political reasons.

Tomorrow, Manafort goes to jail. Cohen is cooperating with Mueller. But let's talk more about Clinton's emails.

Wonder what the price tag of that vaporfest was.

Within minutes of IG Horowitz report release, the left-wing mouth-pieces have already decided what it means. Some idiots here in the WP made comment before the report was released.

They should read the report before running their mouths:

Nobody believes anybody controlled North Korea. Every agreement made with North Korea had been broken regardless of president. I've never heard anybody disagree with that, and I've never heard anybody brag about an agreement, until this last week - and there wasn't even any specific agreement this past week other than a VERY vague reference to working toward disarming.

Good afternoon. I am pleased that the United States and North Korea yesterday reached agreement on the text of a framework document on North Korea's nuclear program. This agreement will help to achieve a longstanding and vital American objective: an end to the threat of nuclear proliferation on the Korean Peninsula.
This agreement is good for the United States, good for our allies, and good for the safety of the entire world. It reduces the danger of the threat of nuclear spreading in the region. It's a crucial step toward drawing North Korea into the global community.

I want to begin by thanking Secretary Christopher and our chief negotiator, Ambassador at Large Bob Gallucci, for seeing these negotiations through. I asked Bob if he'd had any sleep, since he's going to answer all your technical questions about this agreement, and he said that he had had some sleep. So be somewhat gentle with him. After meeting with my chief national security advisers, and at their unanimous recommendation, I am instructing Ambassador Gallucci to return to Geneva on Friday for the purpose of signing an agreement.

The United States has been concerned about the possibility that North Korea was developing nuclear weapons since the 1980's. Three administrations have tried to bring this nuclear program under international control. There is nothing more important to our security and to the world's stability than preventing the spread of nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles. And the United States has an unshakeable commitment to protect our ally and our fellow democracy South Korea. Thirty-eight thousand American troops stationed on the Peninsula are the guarantors of that commitment.

Today, after 16 months of intense and difficult negotiations with North Korea, we have completed an agreement that will make the United States, the Korean Peninsula, and the world safer. Under the agreement, North Korea has agreed to freeze its existing nuclear program and to accept international inspection of all existing facilities.

This agreement represents the first step on the road to a nuclear-free Korean Peninsula. It does not rely on trust. Compliance will be certified by the International Atomic Energy Agency. The United States and North Korea have also agreed to ease trade restrictions and to move toward establishing liaison offices in each other's capitals. These offices will ease North Korea's isolation.

From the start of the negotiations, we have consulted closely with South Korea, with Japan, and with other interested parties. We will continue to work closely with our allies and with the Congress as our relationship with North Korea develops.

Throughout this administration, the fight against the spread of nuclear weapons has been among our most important international priorities, and we've made great progress toward removing nuclear weapons from Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and from Belarus. Nuclear weapons in Russia are no longer targeted on our citizens. Today all Americans should know that as a result of this achievement on Korea, our Nation will be safer and the future of our people more secure.

Yeah, that was one of the many agreements broken by North Korea. Not sure how many people thought North Korea was controlled, at least for long. That agreement had specific terms and inspectons prior to being broken. I guess we don't have to worry about North Korea breaking this past weeks agreement, since they didn't really agree to anything.

The report basically says that Comey helped Trump by releasing that they were looking at new information on Clinton emails just before the election, which he should not have done, all while keeping under wraps that they were looking into Trump/Russia. In other words, he wanted Trump to win and probably influenced the election. Yes, he should have been fired, but that is not why Trump fired him and you know it.

What we know from the external (public) version of IG Horowitz report:

- Obama’s Department of Justice and FBI was corrupt.
- James Comey was corrupt and repeatedly broke procedure and protocol.
- Andrew McCabe was corrupt and repeatedly broke procedure and protocol.
- Peter Strzok is highly biased against Donald Trump.
o Strock was fired from Mueller’s probe because of his bias and demoted.
o Strzok’s anti-Trump mistress Lisa Page ( FBI lawyer) and also fired from Mueller’s probe.
o Strzok was the FBI agent who interviewed Hillary Clinton after she was granted immunity and already exonerated by Strzok’s boss Comey in May 2016.

- Obama used an alias to email Hillary Clinton on her illegal private server.
- Foreign agents hacked Hillary Clinton’s illegal private server and accessed top-secret/SAP documents.
- FBI officials during the Obama administration were easily bought by the press and leaked regularly.
- Insubordination and bias was rampant on the 5th floor at the FBI.
- Some FBI agents were actively trying to stop Donald Trump from becoming president.
- Five to seven FBI employees have already been referred to the FBI’s Office of Professional Responsibility (Internal Affairs) for disciplinary action which can range from a notation in their personnel file to demotion, termination or criminal prosecution. More are expected to be investigated.

This IG report proves the corruption of Obama’s DOJ and FBI.

Next up is the investigation of Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server and her placing of top-secret/SAP documents on that illegal server.

Another investigation is underway into The Clinton Foundation.

So where are all the indictments? A major scandal like that should have lots of indictments. I mean, even a witch hunt like the Trump Russia investigation had over 20 indictments. Surely a serious scandal like this should be able to beat that number.

Trey Gowdy was suppose to have gotten Clinton with his year and several million dollar investigation. He even questioned her himself in that scandal..

BoytonBrother - 6/20/2018 at 03:28 PM

Speaking of Trump failures, when is he going to give back the guns that Obama confiscated from us all? And when is Trump going to de-islamatize this country? I can’t walk down a single American street without hearing “Allah Akbar” and seeing a mosque on every corner. No charges yet for corrupt Obummer either. Trump is failing, and letting Obama get away with it all. Sad!

sixty8 - 6/21/2018 at 08:51 AM

Nothing we didn't already know. Comey along with Russia helped Trump win and we all are paying for it now. The report basically proves that the Russian investigation is legit and not corrupt and that it should be allowed to run it's course.

I personally have seen enough to know there was obvious collusion between Trump's campaign and Russia which isn't a crime, just wrong and sleazy and un American. It also shows blatant obstruction of justice by Trump and many of his cohorts. Not sure what else Mueller has found as far as financial crime or more payoffs in exchange for people's silence. Maybe Trump goes down or maybe just a **** load of people around him go down.

He will probably find a way to weasel out of trouble though as he has his entire life and he will probably find a way to pardon anyone close to him who gets nailed in this but at least he will be exposed for the corrupt person he is and the pathological lying sociopath he is.

It won't matter much though to his supporters and enablers. He is like David Koresh and his supporters are like the Branch Dividians. They buy into Trump's fabricated reality in a very cultish way with their acceptance of his deceit, deception, and blatant disregard for the truth. Very scary that almost 45% of this country are susceptible to this kind of elementary brainwash by a pathological con man. I have lost respect for anyone who approve of this vile man's serial dishonesty whether they are ignoring it which I think most are or if they are gullible enough to buy the bulls_t Trump sells us on a daily basis. Very sad where we are right now.

None of them thought it through. They got so caught up in the excitement, that they forgot he’ll be gone soon, and then what? Once civility is restored, who would ever take these people seriously? Who would ever listen to them complain about anything? They supported hostility, divisiveness, barbaric language, childish insecurities, crime, constant verbal attacks against the US, and a general sense of complete sleaze......what can they possibly complain about ever?
