The Senators are asking some very good questions. Senator Cruz asked about if Zuckerberg knew about the political persuasions of the 15,000- 20,000 people Mr. Zukerberg hires to do "content review", and he mentioned if there was bias and political censorship being used by these people. He further mentioned content being blocked on Glen Beck, Romney, a Fox news reporter being blocked, move-on.org, planned parenthood, and he mentioned the word, "deplorables".
His point was is Facebook a neutral political forum?
Another Senator pointed out that he believed FB violated the Federal Trade Commission Consent Decree.
Other questions were if FB owns all the content of what is posted, do they pull back that info. from advertisers (3rd parties) who may have accessed information based on what was posted.
Some very good questions coming out of these Senators. Facebook wants to monitor itself, but these Senators seem to feel there needs to be some other outside agency oversight.

Conservatives think they can act like total dickheads, same the dumbest, disrespectful, and threatening nonsense aloud, in private forums, and then cry censorship when their are disciplined for it.
I had reported and successfully sent a guy to Facebook jail the other day for saying "end them" on a anti-Muslim type post. I'm sure he's still crying about it and trying to be a guest on some FoxNews show. Yet another attempted martyr for the right.
Facebook fighting the good fight.
Facebook is well within their constitutional rights to become a liberal utopia of like minded socialist beliefs. HOWEVER, they claim they are neutral with regards to any political leanings. Nothing can be farther from the truth. Recently, Facebook banned Diamond and Silk, two -pro Trump supporters with over one million followers for being "a danger to the community." Their only crime was being outspoken Trump supporters. There are countless stories of FB rejecting Catholic advertising as well.
Its this kind of arbitrary, liberal bias that shoots holes in Facebooks "Switzerland" defense.

Keep playing victim. Your woe is me, constant self-pity is pathetic and weak. Since when did the right become the party of victims? Please.

Get the transcripts of the hearing testimony, if you have half a brain you will notice the things I did.
