Jail time seems appropriate in this case. They knew what they were doing. Lots of poor black men are serving time in jail for possession of stolen goods, but if you're rich and steal an ancient treasure you just need to pay a fine.

Who would Jesus steal from???

He also didn't allow his insurance company to pay for his employees contraception.

Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

It's easy to point out one's imperfections and use that to mock their faith. It's much more difficult to look in the mirror and see the truth through one's own facade.

How about NOT cherry picking from the bible to suit your own agenda/needs.

He wouldn't have said it if He didn't want us to heed His words. So, it's actually His agenda. But, have it your way.

How about this: Follow all of it, or none of it. And practice what you preach, or STFU.

Either choice is impossible for humans.

I'm afraid it's not quite that easy. But, I agree, it's certainly what we all should aspire to.
