Good interview. I know plenty around here don't dig Journey at all, but I'd seei him again with Journey, but it would be the lineup with Gregg Rollie. They never had that Steve/Gregg/Neil layered vocal sound again after Rollie left the band in 1980. And less organ and a more polished guitar tone after that too.

I like his new song.

Either you die young and leave a good looking corpse, or you grow old. there is no shame in growing old and still doing what you love. sad story about his lady.

Like many I had always wondered what he had been doing all these years. Thanks for posting that.

Sure don't get that one. He quit a rock band at the height of their success. I understand that........constant touring gets old. He fell in love with someone...........and I mean REALLY fell in love with someone.......despite the fact that she had a terminal illness. Is that creepy? To me it means he has a soul.

What a class act and depth to his person. Newfound respect. Moving and real.
