Thread: Better Call Saul

Does anyone watch this show on AMC? Season 4 premiered last night and was really good!! If you liked Breaking Bad, you'll like this show as well. If you haven't seen either show, do yourself a favor and watch them both immediately!!

Remarkable. So nice to have a show that doesn't rush and that doesn't rely on gimmicks. Killer acting, gorgeous filming.

I enjoyed Breaking Bad and really liked the first season of Saul but could not connect with the 2nd season so I just stopped watching.

I am looking forward to the 2nd season of Ozark.

Yes, I love the show. Haven't seen last night's episode yet but looking forward to it.

I'm looking forward to Ozark as well. Excellent show!! Another good one, on Amazon, is Goliath with Billy Bob Thornton. 2 great seasons so far.

Yes I love the show, and enjoyed breaking bad. But I used to live in Albuquerque NM.

Also, despite what you see on breaking bad, there were not that many tweakers in New Mexico. Yes there were some but they are everywhere or have been for the last few decades including the Northeast, and there's more of a demand for opiates but the whole opiate "epidemic" is nothing new at all.

It's a good show. I'm hoping this season picks up the pace a bit, which judging by this weeks episode, it will.
Breaking Bad was phenomanal.

I't's all good man

Yep, watch it too. Saw the first 3 seasons but haven't seen season's 4 premiere episode yet. Not as brilliant as "Breaking Bad" but still very entertaining. I also like it when a show doesn't rush it's plotline but maybe "Better Call Saul" is a bit slow. 4 seasons in and criminal lawyer Jimmy McGill still hasn't "morphed" into the even more scrupelous Saul. So i'm also hoping this season pics up the pace a bit. Apparantly this season more "Breaking Bad" characters will crossover to this spin-off show so that sounds promising.

Currently i've been binge watching a lot. Especially some high rated HBO series from a few years ago i hadn't seen yet like "Treme" and the brilliant "The Wire". Also enjoyed the first season of the more recent "The Deuce" and i'm looking forward to season 2 that starts soon.

Loved BCS. Also binge watched it. I was hoping there would be a season four. I tried Breaking Bad, didn't really do it for me. Just going by the first couple of episodes. Probably will try it again.

Part of the problem is Cranston makes me think of the "Malcolm in the Middle" dad cooking meth.

Oh, you should most definitely give "Breaking Bad" another try. The show was slow paced but maybe the first few episodes gave you the wrong impression. The transission Walter White's character makes during the entire series is just excellently written and acted!
